Don't you guys think it was AWESOME?? :D YAYS! the sermon was about the Power of Praise and worship and I really learnt loads. sermon and i clicked well for a few reasons! 1)I love praise and worhsip! when ppl talk about things that you love of course click la! hahaha. and as usual, I too started off liking the music-just wanna be there as a listener of nicenice concert-ish music (FOC somemore ehXD)and feeling awkward with ppl raising hands and speaking in togues and all. But of course that changed! learnt how much much BETTER it is to soak in God's presence in the atmosphere of worship :)AND just going CRAZY in jumping and praising God! P.S if you haven't experienced what is the realreal power of praise and worship, start by reflecting on how close the lyrics can be to your heart :) 2)Click-ing incidents mentioned in sermon itself! Pastor Shirley mentioned about how the song 'shepherd of my soul' came to her. and just at the point of time I rmb that THAT was the song that refreshed me last sun! WOOTS :D and during the sermon the line "I could sing of your love forever" was stuck in my brain and she mentioned it too! hahah how cool is that. really amazing :D 3)I have experienced an incident on how a worship song really came at the right time and revived me :) remembered in halfway in the sermon. I remember at that time our math teacher left early I think, and she left us with a couple of math questions. Then I was stressing over the questions ON TOP OF feeling ultra tired and lethargic like i can just plop on the table and fall asleep. :( That was when my friend who was beside me listening to her ipod offered one ear phone :) and the song 'Mighty to save' was playing! WOAHH. I was instantly much more charged up! much much more than more coffee or caffiene can do :). concidently, thats the song featured in this blogskin. i wish i had the song, then can send to you all. anw I just got hooked onto this song by planetshakers. "take me" from the album "saviour of the world" :). its really good! LOVE! -calean 0 comments Tuesday, August 21, 2007 ( @ 11:08 PM ) im here again! heheh yayy cg!the stressful games laaaa made me so stressed: D but anw i hv learned! and i wont lose the next time;) hehe but super fun still! halfway thru printing my heritage trail bklet but was thking why why why my printer keeps jamming paper for no reason:/then it turned out that there was a straw in the printer-.-duno how it gt there in the first place! hehee was just thinking tat while i was doing heritage trail, just feel so blessed!in so so so many ways:):):) so im here to say that i really really am v thankful to Daddy! really thank God for placing so many ppl around me, who encourage, support each other, who genuinely love and are so dearly loved too! yupyup and all the more i want to thank GOD for GOD:) for always being there to confide in, listen to our whines, our fears, our excitements, simply our everything! and even in the mrt rite,when i was just sharing with God abt wat happend in the day n how tired and jiao suan i was.. then immediately gt sumone in front of me just stood up and went away!then the mrt so crowded but nobody wanted to sit(quite weird actuali) so i happily went to plop down on the seat:)hehe so relieved THANKYOU DADDY! so amazing how God is around us all the time, working beside us, looking out for us, watching over us...His amazing<3 really ive gt too much to thank You for:) and i feel so blessed and loved!:)) I LOVE YOU GOD! yup just want to say JIAYOU JIAYOU da jia! in this pre-eoy period, gt so manymany things to do and nt alot of time...so lets JIAYOU and depend on our Daddy!He will be our kao4 shan1, our source! tats whats so diff abt having You in our lives: D and yesyes seeing ten!believing in seeing:) i believe! God will be saying JIAYOU as well, right beside us! lets jiayou and keep ZEALing! CAREGROUP YTD, YAYY! :D thanks yux for the open-ness in sharing testi and sharlene for the thoughtful holy comm! and me for the games and lesson :P. hahahah. hope you guys had fun and learnt sth! lets grow to become people of ONE BOOK-- the bible! zhuoxuan, uyen! you guys are wanted in the next caregroup! bet you guys are getting back/have gotten back results from the term 3 tests. for those who have done well, CONGRATS! gongxi gongxi :D. and those papars not done very well, its alrights yah. :) weightage not high anws. we shall do better at eoys! end-of-years are drawing near the corner.
